Globe is thrilled to announce our first annual scholarship. Our one-time scholarship will be awarded to a Halton Hills student in their graduating year of high school. Students who are eligible for this $500 scholarship will be pursuing post-secondary education.
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the scholarship:
- must be a Halton Hills resident, you can attend a high school outside of Halton Hills, however you must be a resident of Halton Hills
- must have had experience with Globe Productions in the past 4 years
- not an immediate relative of a Globe Productions Board of Directors member
- student graduating high school in June 2025
- demonstrated experience in various aspects of theatre - on stage / off stage

- past Globe experience
- demonstrated leadership qualities
- excellent work ethic
- ability to work effectively as a cast member
- ability to mentor other cast members
- ability or interest to support the production teams
- strong character
- strong organizational skills - comes prepared, meets deadlines, follows direction
- Reference letter from a High School teacher outlining your ability, experience and why you deserve this award.

Selection Process for the Globe Productions Scholarship:
The successful candidate will be chosen by the Globe Productions Board of Directors and notified by email no later than June 23, 2025
The $500 scholarship will be paid by cheque, payable to the recipient and must be cashed within 30 days
The successful candidate agrees to be contacted by Globe Productions regarding this scholarship and to be acknowledged in the Globe Productions media campaign including social media, website and member newsletters
